Description

When activated, the book functions as a Gate spell. It can be used three times before requiring a year to recharge. Activation requires the use of a hellish sacrificial dagger and a sentient sacrifice. The summoning calls forth a specified devil, commonly a bearded devil, until the command is complete.

History

The book was found by Voss in the aftermath of the ritual at the Old Grinder. In Session 3, its properties and requirements were revealed.
